Bill Elliff, Sr Teaching Pastor

With nearly 40 years pastoral experience, Bill Elliff is a man that God has used greatly for the expansion of His kingdom through the years.  The passion of his heart is  to see spiritual revival and methodological renewal in the church for the glory of God that we may reach the next generation for Christ.

His incredible knowledge of the Word coupled with his great love for people makes Bill one of the most enjoyable Bible teachers you could ever listen to.

Bill has been the pastor of The Summit Church since its birth in 1998.

He is married to Holly and they have 8 children.

 

Danny Jones, Teaching Pastor/ Engage Ministries

Danny has been serving on staff at The Summit since 2007. He and Clara are celebrating 25 years of life and love together. That journey has been blessed with 8 kids, 15 years of discipleship in Slovakia and other parts of Eastern Europe, and a million stories about how awesome God is. Danny grew up in a missionary/pastor’s home which took him from Guyana to Kansas. He believes that the greatest calling in the world is the empowerment of people to engage fully in knowing, loving and following Jesus. He is greatly influenced by Leonard Sweet, Brennan Manning and N.T. Wright. Danny loves gardening, refinishing furniture, and hanging out with his kids.

 

B.J. Stricklin, Teaching Pastor/ Equipping Ministries

BJ has been a part of The Summit family since 2007.  Having served in various ministry roles through the years, BJ’s primary passion is to build cultures of intentional discipleship.  As a part of this, BJ’s greatest joy is leading leaders into places of strategic disciple-making.   Originally from Birmingham, AL, BJ’s theological education is from Samford University (BA in Religion & Classics) and Beeson Divinity School (Masters of Arts in Theology).  He has been married to his beautiful wife Jenny since 2006, and God has blessed them with 3 boys.
